South Africa Discovery Tour: A Journey of Landscapes, Culture, and Wildlife

DAY 1–3: CAPE TOWN
Welcome to South Africa’s vibrant Mother City, set against the iconic backdrop of Table Mountain. Take a cable car ride to the summit (weather permitting) for panoramic views, wander through the colourful Bo-Kaap neighbourhood, and explore Cape Town’s cultural and historical highlights. Embark on a breathtaking journey along the Cape Peninsula with visits to Maiden’s Cove, a scenic cruise to Seal Island, the dramatic Chapman’s Peak Drive, Cape Point Nature Reserve, and the famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach.


DAY 4–5: FRANSCHHOEK
Travel through the scenic Cape Winelands, stopping in the historic town of Stellenbosch for a guided walking tour. Continue to the charming village of Franschhoek, known for its French heritage and award-winning wines. Ride the renowned Wine Tram through rolling vineyards and indulge in tastings at world-class wineries.


DAY 6: OUDTSHOORN
Head inland along the iconic Route 62, stopping at boutique wineries and quirky roadside attractions like the legendary Ronnie’s Sex Shop. Arrive in Oudtshoorn, the “Ostrich Capital of the World.


DAY 7–8: KNYSNA
Visit the impressive Cango Caves and a working ostrich farm before continuing to the coastal town of Knysna. Enjoy an eco-experience in the Featherbed Nature Reserve, including a boat trip across the lagoon and a delicious lunch in a stunning natural setting.


DAY 9: STORMSRIVER & TSITSIKAMMA NATIONAL PARK
Explore the lush Tsitsikamma Forest and walk across the suspension bridge at Storms River Mouth. Optional adventure activities such as kayaking or zip-lining are available for thrill-seekers.


DAY 10–11: SUNDAYS RIVER VALLEY & ADDO
Journey via scenic St. Francis Bay, with a special calamari tasting, en route to Sundays River Valley. Enjoy a full-day safari in an open vehicle at Addo Elephant National Park—home to one of Africa’s largest elephant populations.


DAY 12: PRETORIA
Fly from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg (flight not included), then transfer to the capital city of Pretoria for an overnight stay.


DAY 13–16: KRUGER REGION & PANORAMA ROUTE
Head into South Africa’s Lowveld region for an unforgettable wildlife experience. Search for the Big Five on a full-day open vehicle safari in Kruger National Park. Discover the beauty of the Panorama Route, including God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, and the thrilling Graskop Gorge Lift. DAY 17: JOHANNESBURG
Return to Johannesburg for your final evening in South Africa.
