- Acceptance of Terms
By booking a tour with Wandering Holidays (“we,” “us,” or “Tour Operator”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. When booking for others, you confirm having authority to accept these terms for all participants. - Booking Process
- A binding contract forms upon our written confirmation after receiving your deposit
- You must be at least 18 years old to book
- All information provided must be accurate and as shown in passports
- Group Bookings
- Group leaders are the primary contact for communications and payments
- Leaders must ensure consent from all participants
- We are not liable for incorrect information provided by group leaders
- Special Requirements
- Inform us of any special needs at booking (dietary, mobility, etc.)
- While we try to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee all requirements
- Destinations may have varying accessibility levels
- Age Requirements
- Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult (1 adult per 2 minors)
- Minimum age is 12 unless specified otherwise
- Adults must secure all necessary travel documents for minors
- We do not provide childcare services
- Insurance Requirements
- Mandatory travel insurance with minimum coverage of USD 200,000
- Must cover medical expenses, evacuation, and repatriation
- Proof required at tour start
- We recommend additional coverage for cancellation and personal liability
- Pricing Policy
- Prices are fixed once paid in full
- We may add surcharges up to 2% for external cost increases
- For increases over 7%, you may:
- Cancel for a full refund
- Accept the new price (automatic after 14 days)
- Cancellation Terms
By You:
- 60+ days before departure: Keep Lifetime Deposit, rest refunded
- 30-59 days: Keep Lifetime Deposit, 50% refund
- Less than 30 days: No refund
By Us:
- Regular cancellation: Choose another tour, full refund, or travel credit
- Force majeure: Alternative tour, 110% credit, or refund minus costs
- Travel Documentation
- Valid passport (6+ months beyond tour end)
- Required visas and vaccinations
- Entry/exit requirement compliance
- We’re not responsible for documentation issues
- Tour Changes
- We may alter itineraries for safety or circumstances beyond our control
- No refunds for services missed due to external factors
- Significant changes allow you to switch tours or receive a refund
- Health & Safety
- Adventure travel involves inherent risks
- Signed waiver required
- We may remove disruptive participants without refund
- Liability
- Not responsible for third-party suppliers
- Claims limited to tour price or USD 700 for luggage
- Force Majeure
We’re not liable for events beyond our control (pandemics, natural disasters, political issues) - Marketing & Privacy
- We may use tour photos/videos for promotion
- Personal data handled per Privacy Policy
- Legal Framework
- UK law governs these terms
- Disputes resolved in UK courts
- Terms Updates
- Changes effective 10 days after website posting
- Invalid clauses don’t affect other terms
Specialized Tours
- Day Tours: Full payment at booking
- 8+ days: 100% refund
- 4-7 days: 50% refund
- 3 or fewer days: No refund
- Mini Adventures: 20% non-refundable deposit
- SOLO-ISH Tours: Individual travelers only
