Group Size:

We keep groups small (max 15, average 10) for a more immersive and personal experience. Check individual trip pages for specific group sizes.

Packing:

• Pack light! Trip Details documents, available on each trip page, offer tailored packing lists based on your destination and time of year.

Visas:

• Visa requirements vary. You can arrange visas independently or use a travel agent/visa service.

Vaccinations:

• Consult your doctor or a travel health clinic for the most accurate and up-to-date vaccination advice.

Flights:

• International airfare is not included. We can provide flight quotes upon request.

Age Restrictions:

• Minimum age for independent travel is 18. Most tours have no upper age limit, except 18-to-Thirtysomethings tours (18-39 years). Travelers with medical conditions must complete a questionnaire.

Single Travelers:

• Most tours don’t have a single supplement; you’ll share a room with a same-sex traveler. “My Room” (private room) may be available for an extra cost; details are on individual trip pages.

Hotel Information:

• Starting and ending hotels are on your travel voucher and Trip Details. A full hotel list is provided on day 1. For emergencies, contact +44…… (24/7).

Joining/Leaving Tours:

• Joining late is usually impossible. Leaving early is possible, but you’ll manage your arrangements and costs.

Airport Transfers:

• Most tours exclude airport transfers. Taxis are recommended. Pre-arranged transfers may be available for a fee. Some tours include arrival transfers; departure transfers can be arranged locally.

Transportation:

• We primarily use private transport. Check trip pages for specifics.

Luggage:

• Backpacks or duffel bags are recommended. Avoid bulky suitcases, especially with wheels unsuitable for rough terrain.

Extra Hotel Nights:

• We can often arrange extra nights at starting/ending hotels (excluding European tours). Contact us or check the website for availability and pricing. Book extra nights at least 30 days before departure.
